Beer does have benefits

How is everybody doing today?! I hope all is well on your end! It is absolutely clear skies and sunny down here in South Texas. Could not have asked for a better day!

So I got to relax this weekend with my pops for the first time in a while. Of course we BBQ'd I mean, its Texas how could we not right? We also had a few drinks cause it was NATIONAL BEER DAY so shout out to all my beer drinkers out there! Anyways We got to talk, laughed, and made jokes while we cracked a few cold ones. Let me tell yall we are we took advantage and truly enjoyed the day. For you beer drinkers out there did yall know that the builders of the Great Pyramid of Giza were actually paid with a daily ration of beer?! I'm not sure why some folks assume things cant get done due to alcohol consumption, but I beg to differ! I mean common the pyramid is still standing...

Everybody likes to have a good time. Not everybody needs to have a drink to do so , but it helps!

So one thing I have learned is beer does have its benefits. There was a Spanish study that had to do with workout recovery. Everybody likes to hit the gym, but they think beer automatically leads to a beer belly. That's not necessarily the case! These test subjects were asked to raise their body temp. to 104 degrees and proceeded to rehydrate themselves with either beer or water. According to this study the test subjects who had a post workout pint were slightly MORE hydrated than those who drank water!!! Shocker I know!

Well anyways I could go on all day about the benefits of beer consumption. I hope you all had a great weekend and got to celebrate National Beer Day as well as I did! If not well then there is always tomorrow !
